Dia de Valencia
9/out/2024
On 9 October, Valencia celebrates the conquest of the city by Jakob I. the Conquerer in 1238. With that, the Moorish control of the city ended. There are numerous events on this important day in Valencia. Among other things, the flag of the city is carried through the city and consecrated in the end. Apart from that, additional festivities with parades, music and dance take place. Big fireworks traditionally mark the finale.
